8x8 - overview

The 8x8 corporation offer a range of cloud voice/video / call centre solutions based on a complex ecosystem built from multiple solutions integrated across the US / UK / Europe

OBJECTIVE
+ Provide UX direction on the primary management interfaces located within the 8x8 ecosystem. As part of the process of tech acquisitions 8x8 clients have been split between a number of administrative platforms. I worked with product leads to integrate functionality into the primary admin tool to enable migration of customers on legacy platforms to upgrade to Configuration manager the organisations primary platform

+ Partner with Product / Support / Engineering to investigate opportunities to deliver the corporations first self service admin solution aimed at reducing spend on small business installs which presently account for a large proportion of support calls.

+ Extend Oxygen design system to facilitate roll out of 8x8 Express, the self service application launched across US, with future roll outs across UK and mainland Europe.

+ Increase cross team collaboration; working with the design lead to promote in-house and remote testing within the design cohort with a view to integrating research fully into the teams practices.
